Day 1: Arrive in Dar es Salaam, Drive to Selous Game Reserve
Welcome to take this southern Tanzannia safari journey, which will take you to the largest, wildest and most remote game reserves and national parks of southern Tanzania! Your English-speaking driver guide will pick you up from the Dar es Salaam Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR) according to your arrival flight schedule, or from your hotel in Dar es Salaam if you already stay there, and then drive 3.5 to 4 hours to the first safari destination - Selous Game Reserve. On arrival, you will check in at the camp and take a break. A boat safari on the Rufiji River will be arranged in the late afternoon, which is great for hippo, crocodile and birdlife viewing. Amazing sunset view in this large African wildlife sanctuary will also add much more delight. Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Day 2: Selous Game Reserve
Selous Game Reserve is the largest protected game reserve on the African continent and internationally recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its rich diversity of wildlife and untouched nature. Occupying an area of 54,600 square kilometers (21,000 square miles), this reserve is larger than Switzerland and 3.5 times that of the famous Serengeti National Park in northern Tanzania. In this vast protected area, millions of wild animals make their home here, with approximately 145,000 buffaloes, 100,000 African elephants, 80,000 stripes wildebeests, 50,000 moose, 4000 lions, 40,000 hippos, and the world's largest herds of rhinos, crocodiles, etc. as well as many rare animals that are not found elsewhere in the world. It is truly a world of wild animals. Today, you will have a full-day game drive in 4X4 land cruiser or minivan with pop up roof for game viewing and photography. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3: Selous Game Reserve
Not only game drives, but also walking safari can be experienced in Selous. Few of Tanzania's national parks have the opportunity to visit on foot, and Selous is exceptional. This morning, you will take a guided walking safari to enjoy an up-close encounter with nature and wildlife. You can quietly ambush in the woods and experience the feeling of being a "hunter", of course not real hunting. In the afternoon, proceed with the game drive. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4: Drive to Udzungwa Mountains
Take an early morning game drive and then get back for breakfast. After that, we will check out from the camp and drive 6 to 7 hours to the Udzungwa Mountains with packed lunch. When driving through the Selous Game Reserve, you will once again have the chance to spot the abundant wildlife. Arrival at Udzungwa in the evening and check into the lodge. Day 5: Hike through Udzungwa Mountains to Sanje Waterfalls
Udzongwa Mountains National Park is located on the jungle plains on the eastern coast of Tanzania, covering an area of about 1,990 square kilometers (768 square miles). A number of independent hills make up the Udzongwa Mountains. The rolling hills covered by endless forests make it a paradise for animals. The climate here is suitable for bird life, so there are nearly 400 species of birds living here for a long time. This park has been declared the sacred preserve of hikers and walkers. Today you will be escorted to hike through the beautiful forests with packed lunch boxes to the top of Udzungwa for a spectacular view of the Sanje Waterfalls. The falls are split in three parks - 30 meters, 70 meters and the highest being 170 meters. You can enjoy swimming in the pool underneath the fall if feel interested, which is a good way to cool down after the walk. During the hike, you will learn about various trees and look out for birds and animals in this unique wild habitat. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 6: Drive to Ruaha National Park, Stop at Isimila Stone Age Site
After breakfast, we will leave the forest and mountains behind and continue to drive to the Ruaha National Park. In about 3 to 4 hours, we will make a cultural stop at the Isimila Stone Age Site, one of the most important Stone Age archaeological sites in Tanzania. You will start the visit from a museum on site, where the fossils and tools dating back to 60,000 to 100,000 years are displayed. Then walk through the small canyons and eroded pillars. Later, we will continue to drive around 2 hours to Ruaha. On arrival, check in at the lodge. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 7: Ruaha National Park
Ruaha National Park is the second largest national park in Tanzania after Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve). Most of the park is located above 900 meters of high ground, with rolling hills, valleys and plains. Due to its remote location, most of the areas are still in an undeveloped state, making it even more primitive and mysterious. Today, you will enjoy full day game drives in this park, which offers not only fantastic wildlife viewing, but also breathtaking natural landscape. Many endemic plant and animal species here cannot be found in any other national parks. This is also one of the largest concentrations of African elephants. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 8: Ruaha National Park
Continue game drives in Ruaha today. The river area features large numbers of hippo and crocodile, and the wild dogs, lions, elephants, jaguars, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, bat-eared foxes, and jackals are all over the mountains and plains area, as well as nearly 500 bird species, which enable you to fully enjoy close contact with nature. Day 9: Drive to Mikumi National Park
Check out from the lodge after breakfast and then embark on a morning game drive before driving a long distance to the Mikumi National Park. The whole journey will take around 5 to 6 hours. Upon arrival, you will settle in a comfortable lodge and get some rest. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 10: Mikumi National Park
Today you will enjoy a full day Big 5 and bird watching game drive until sunset in Mikumi National Park. Covering an area of about 3,230 square kilometers (1,247 square miles), Mikumi is the fourth largest national park in Tanzania. It covers almost all the species on the African savannah. Many rare wild animals in Africa can be sighted here, including lions, elephants, zebras, antelopes, baboons, buffaloes, giraffes and other animals, and also there are more than 400 species of birds inhabiting in this park. Day 11: Drive back to Dar es Salaam
